What sun protective clothing is best?

When it comes to sun protection, clothing beats sunscreen every time. Wide-brim hats, long-sleeved shirts, and lightweight rash guards provide reliable, all-day protection without the need to reapply.

Some of my favorite brands for quality and comfort are Coolibar and Columbia and Cotopaxi—they’re a bit pricier but worth it. UV Skinz also makes great options, and Quiksilver has excellent styles for kids and teens. Solbari makes the best sun hats.
