April showers offer a great excuse for a movie night. What better to accompany the in-home theatrical experience than some good old fashioned ganja popcorn? This salty, buttery and cannabis infused recipe is sure to delight.

INGREDIENTS:

½ cup organic popcorn kernels

3 tbsp grapeseed or coconut oil

2-4 tbsp cannabis infused butter

Sea salt, to taste

PREPARATION:

Begin by putting the oil in a large pot, and then turn the heat on medium-high. Cover with lid. Let the oil heat up for a minute. An optional way to tell when the oil is hot and ready is to place a few kernels in the pot while it is heating up. When the kernels pop, it’s ready. After oil is heated, pour the kernels into the pot and cover again with lid. When the kernels begin to pop, shake them around a bit in the pot over the flame. When the popping slows to about two second intervals between pops, remove the pot from the flame.

In a separate pot, melt cannabutter over low heat. Pour over popcorn, and add salt to taste. Let cool before eating. Enjoy!
