Smoking weed might be prohibited on the slopes, but that doesn’t stop countless ski and snowboard lovers from getting their ganja on. If you plan on hitting the slopes this season, rest assured there will be plenty of dispensaries nearby to help with your high. Whether travelling to Aspen, Vail, Breckenridge, or any of the other world-class ski towns in the state, you’re likely to find a few choices when it comes to picking out some quality cannabis for your winter wonderland vacay.
Roots Rx AspenRoots Rx actually has six dispensaries throughout Colorado, and are a definite must-check out next time you’re in Aspen. Local strains run $25/eighth, $45/quarter, and $140/ounce, while top-shelf quality strains run $40/eight, $75/quarter, and $260/ounce.
For those who don’t like to smoke, Roots Rx has a good selection of carefully selected edibles. There are also topical salves available to soothe any sore muscles after a good day riding or skiing. They also sell vape pens and cartridges for those who prefer.
Telluride Bud Company Telluride Bud Company has been around before recreational weed was legal, and they definitely know what it takes to run a successful dispensary. This locally owned and operated business in the heart of downtown Telluride is one that shouldn’t be missed the next time you hit the slopes.
They’re open 7 days a week to meet your marijuana needs, with a good selection of different products to fit the desires of all types of cannabis consumers. Flower, edibles, infused products, and concentrates can all be found at Telluride Bud Company. A gram of flower will only cost you 5 bucks, and you can purchase an ounce for just over $140. Their selection is endless…and you can even order online to skip the line during peak season.
